Drawing from extensive experience in previous 2.5TFSI EVO applications Unitronic Mechanical Engineers took the time to design this unit specific for the DXH equipped 8Y RS3 retaining functionality with all OEM PCV system components.

Featuring high-quality cast Aluminum construction and premium supporting hardware this 4-inch Turbo Inlet Elbow easily supports the airflow demands of the factory turbo as well as all of the mainstream hybrid turbos currently on the market thanks to Unitronic's clever adapter rings.

NOTE: For 8Y.2 RS3 fitment, Unitronic's PCV Adapter is required.

Proven Airflow Gains

Building on proven designs from other 2.5TFSI EVO applications, Unitronic developed this 4” Turbo Inlet Elbow for the 8Y RS3 to optimize airflow under a wide range of conditions. In testing, the OEM inlet reached a peak flow rate of 581 CFM at 28” of H₂O, while the Unitronic 4” Turbo Inlet achieved 744 CFM — a 28% increase over stock.

Stock or Hybrid Turbo Compatible

Through the elimination of upstream (pre-compressor) restrictions, Unitronic’s new 4” Turbo Inlet Elbow for the 8Y RS3 improves the efficiency of the factory Borg-Warner turbocharger and is compatible with mainstream stock frame hybrid turbochargers, including The Turbo Engineers TTE700 and TTE777, through it’s versatile, precisely CNC-machined billet aluminum compressor inlet adapters.

Install

The Unitronic 4-inch Turbo Inlet Elbow for the 8Y RS3 is designed to be simple to install with all the necessary hardware included. Installation time can take 1-2 hours including the removal of the factory elbow and installation of your new Turbo Inlet Elbow.

NOTE: This product is compatible with Left Hand Drive (LHD) models only and does not work with stock intake.
